This quilt started as a bunch of nine-patches in my QIP box. I love the colors (dandelion, spring green, & grey) but I wanted a free-form design so I re-worked it. It’s about 36″x45″.
It is quilted in a classic meander & the back is solid yellow with a few little squares. I picked solid grey for the binding because the grey fabrics seemed to get a little lost in the finished quilt.

Wow! I say again …. Wow! This quilt just blows me away. The colors look so great together. Grey is my new favorite quilt color!
Very nice…excellent color choice.
Fabulous, very nice, I love it!
great colors! i love it!
What a creative way to use the crazy 9 patch blocks. I especially love those wedges of the caramel-colored fabric, and also how the gray and yellow look together. Beautiful!
Lovely colors! I was just thinking today (when I got some new grey fabrics in the mail) how great these colors would look together.
Gorgeous! I love the colors you used and the free form nine patch design
Oh, I do love this one. The extra bits in the borders/sashing just make this quilt.
This is a beautiful quilt: I especially love the back — the contrast between the simple color, the few patterns in simple geometry and the exuberant quilting — its really wonderful!
